To bring facial animation into iClone onto a non-standard human character or human character from anywhere is currently not possible as far as I know. Without this process your DAZ3D character can not have its face animated in iClone. I've seen this video and the purpose from what I took is to import a DAZ3D character with facial blend shapes so you can take advantage of the facial puppet tools, lip sync and face key tool in iClone. Maybe you would have more luck contacting DAZ support, as they seem to be the main source of your problems. Since the problems you are having appear to caused by changes made by DAZ in 4.8, why don't you just simply reinstall 4.7 from the saved downloaded installation file on you system? The announcement you refer to was made while 4.7 was still the latest version available. Here is the Forum Thread originally announcing the Facekey.duf files, enabling facial animation in iClone: I am trying to find out if this problem has been fixed with 3DX6. It worked with DAZ 4.7 > 3DX5 Pipeline > iClone 6. The facekey.duf files sole purpose was to enable this functionality. Up until a couple of months ago it was possible to do facial animation with a non-standard human character from DAZ. Keep asking nicely I don't think you understand. Can you imagine bringing in facial animation, then using the facial puppet tools, lip sync and face key to fine tune it? We are talking real power to create high quality 3D character animation on your home computer. Not sure why Reallusion does not want to make this happen. So please, if anyone else in the user community has successfully converted a DAZ G2 from DAZ 4.8 using 3DX6 Pipeline into iClone 6 with facial animation intact, please let me know.

Still no firm answer or solution to date. John Martin also told me he would escalate this issue to the developer team and look into this and try to expedite a solution. However, John Martin, a long-time employee at RL - who I spoke with by phone earlier this summer - told me by email that this was not the case. They told me the issue was fixed with 3DX6. Waited PATIENTLY for over a month to get a response. Uploaded sample / test files to their FTP server. I've made judicious use of Support, thank you. RL support is competent, but don't expect an instant answer It usually takes couple days fro a response. The back and forth responses can eat up a week. You speed up your request, because if they don't understand they ask additional questions. Explain carefully, and they will try to help.
